The most common type of Optical Achromatic Lens is the achromatic doublet, which is composed of two individual lenses made from optical glass lenses with different amounts of dispersion. Typically, one element is a negative Optical Lens (concave lens) element made out off flint glass such as, which has relatively high dispersion, and the other is a positive optical lens (convex lens) element made of crown glass such as BK7, which has lower dispersion. The optical achromats lens elements are mounted next to each other, often cemented together, and shaped so that the chromatic aberration of one is counterbalanced by that of the other.
Optical Achromatic Lens are designed to specifically function within the infrared, visible, or ultra-violet wavelength ranges, and they are not symmetric devices.
Negative Optical Achromats Lens is typically used when there is a need to eliminate chromatic aberration. In addition to reducing chromatic aberration at the design wavelengths, spherical aberration and coma are greatly reduced. We always make our Optical Achromatic Lens as precise specifications and tolerances for uncompromising image quality upon customer's requirement.
Big Dimension Achromatic Lens and single optical Spherical Lens are available upon request. Such as Plano-Convex Spherical Lens,Plano-Concave Spherical Lens,Double-Convex Spherical Lens,double-concave spherical lens,Meniscus Spherical Lens, special spherical lens, ball lens, sphere lens etc.
